All cooking ingredients are included. So, no shopping for you.
This course will be run at Hayling Island Community Centre, every Friday from 9th Sep. - 6PM to 8PM.
Duration
2 hours in total. During the two hours cooking session, I will demonstrate how to make the dishes step by step, whilst answering your questions. Takeaway boxes can be provided to take food home.
3/4 of the session will be making/cooking the dishes, with the last half hour reserved for enjoying your creations. Tea or Coffee will be provided.
Class Size
I can only accommodate 12 people at each session, so booking will be on a first come first served basis.

This class is perfect for all levels of experience. Whether you consider yourself an experienced chef or a total beginner, we’re here to help you become more confident in your skills!
Dietary
The menu for this class contains allergens such as soy, nuts and egg. Please contact us if you have any allergies and we will try our best to provide alternative recipes/ingredients. The menus also contains other allergens such as gluten, but it will not be possible to adapt the recipe.

Week 1: Understanding the Wok - We teach you the perfect techniques for wok-frying, wok maintenance and show you how to make Chen’s Special Chow Mein using this versatile piece of equipment!
Week 2: Knife Skill - There are four techniques in cutting used in the chef’s daily activities. The cuts are vertical, horizontal, slanted, and carving. All these cuts are essential to achieve perfection for certain types of dishes. We are going to learn/practice the 4 ways of cutting by making “Chen’s Pineapple Chicken with Cashew Nuts” .
