We believe that Kids who are involved in meal preparation tend to be more open to trying new foods and eat better, healthier meals throughout their lives.
In this class, I will provide a step-by-step preparations of a meal to serve a family of 4 members.
I will give the class tips and tricks to making their meal and encourage safe food preparation practices.
Kids will be using a variety of cooking tools including the stovetop and oven, measuring cups and spoons, knives, etc. I will provide a grocery list 1 week before class begins or earlier upon request. All ingredients should be easily found at your local grocery store. Basic cooking tools will be needed (i.e. measuring cups/spoons, wok, pots, pans, etc.)
Students will be using standard cooking utensils and appliances including knives and stovetops and ovens. Please be nearby to provide assistance.
